Dive into the great outdoors with our immersive Bushcraft programmes, specially designed for school-aged adventures and learning. Perfect for igniting curiosity, building confidence and teaching valuable survival skills, our programmes are tailored to inspire a love for nature while offering hands-on learning in a fun, safe environment.

 

We offer three different programmes:

 

Kingfisher - discover the secrets of the wetlands

Robin - Get up close and personal with our animal kingdom

Magpie - master survival skills

Animal tour
Connect with nature while learning about native wildlife on this guided tour.


Animal tracking

Learn and practice observing and following animals, learn to ID animal tracks.

 

Camouflage
Learn to use our environment to hide our location and disguise our appearance. Can be linked to animal adaptations

 

Fire lighting
Learn how to make a fire in the wild

 

Shelter building
In teams create shelters from wood, moss, and leaves to try and survive the incoming storm (as waterproof and windproof as possible).

 

Swamp walk
A 100-metre meander in bare feet through the mire. It’s cold, smelly and an enormous amount of fun! Only available for year 3+.

 

Water filtration
Learn how to filtrate water using different materials and tools. Can be linked to the importance of wetlands habitats - a natural water filtration system.

These programmes encourage teamwork, problem-solving, and environmental awareness.
