As a leading conservation charity we work with a broad range of outside agencies including wildlife trusts, government agencies and of course, other zoos and conservation organisations throughout the UK and overseas.
Working in a small team, you’ll pay a key role in helping us to maintain efficient and productive communications with a broad selection of publics ranging from our members and visitors, to international print and broadcast media, on a broad range of subjects from daily activities to award-winning conservation projects.
Social Media Content Creation
We’re looking for people with a natural flair for capturing just the right still and moving images to tell our unique, engaging stories. In addition to technical ability, you’ll need to flex your creative muscles to maximise impact.

We’re looking for analytical types capable of identifying and capturing the ideal audience for our diverse range of products and services. You’ll need to be on top of the latest social media trends and have a sense for picking the right content, for the right platform to be broadcast at just the right time to get the maximum traction.

Press and Public Relations
In press relations, we’re looking for excellent communicators capable of cultivating and maintaining valuable media relationships and conveying a broad range of stories to our publics. In this pivotal communications role you’ll learn how to identify and create stories, how to craft the perfect press release to tell them, and how, when and to whom they should be sent.
